How to dispose of your refills

Refills for Nettle™ and Lutea™ are made from 100% wood-derived cellulose, a plant-based material that is biodegradable. Because the sponges are chemically treated during manufacturing, disposal options vary by region, and most local waste systems do not accept them for composting. For this reason, we recommend disposing of used refills in general household waste.
